Take the B1340 signposted Alnwick Gardens and Denwick. Travel through Denwick following signs to Boulmer and Longhoughton. On entering Longhoughton, pass church on the left and immediately turn right into Crowlea Road. Take 2nd right into The Croft. Swallows’ Rest is situated at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Longhoughton is easily reached by rail. Alnmouth is the nearest station on the main east coast line from London to Edinburgh. A short distance by taxi.

By Cycle
Follow National Cycle Route 1 into the
village of Longhoughton.
